About Omeed

OFFICIAL BIO

Omeed partners with leaders and their teams to deliver uncompromised results.

Mission-driven leaders call Omeed to achieve "more" - more impact and more meaning. Our work often starts by answering the question "why?" Where we land is rarely where we started.

My results delivery quest led me to join leading organizations (e.g. Google and Boston Consulting Group), work across five continents, and dig into the fastest growing industries (e.g. technology, healthcare, energy and education), while delivering innovative solutions for individuals, start-ups, Fortune 100 companies, and heads of state. I am known for a people-centric approach that drives the behavioral changes required to achieve previously unattainable results. I partner with my clients to sustain these achievements through practical steps that achieve inside-out alignment across leaders, teams and organizations. I have a B.A in Economics from Stanford University and an MBA in Finance, Strategy and Entrepreneurship from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago.

THE REAL BIO

Hello. I'm Omeed Rezaian. My name, Omeed, means hope in Persian. I am American, Iranian and Muslim. I have had a complicated life which has made all the difference.

I was born in Chicago, IL, the son of immigrant parents. I was at once the youngest adult and the oldest child in my community. I lived as a bridge across generations, languages and cultures. I learned to listen for what was and was not said. I saw how my identity was often misrepresented and wondered what that meant for others and their truths.

When it came to achieving my dreams, I yearned for a guide to show me the way. This need planted a deeply seated value for coaching in me and continues to drive me to serve others in their moments that matter most.

I have long considered economic freedom as the fountainhead for most other freedom. I studied economics at Stanford University and later pursued a career in management consulting (Boston Consulting Group and Booz Allen Hamilton) to grow economic engines for everyone. I later focused on drivers of behavior change since results, after all, are a function of the behaviors required to achieve them. This led me to join Google's People Development and Global Networking teams where I have led leadership and organizational effectiveness initiatves across YouTube, Cloud, Ads and more.

A few years ago, I had a heart attack. It was a surprise result of a long-term pattern of equating self-care with selfishness. Things become very simple, very fast when you stare down death. I pared down life's complications and had unwavering clarity about what was important to me. I work to make each day better than the last and to be the best son, brother, husband, father and friend I can be to all, starting with my family.

In my client work, we almost always start with helping you to be deeply seen and understood. Our results delivery journey continues from here.

We live in a world of abundance and will receive exactly in accordance with who we are being. One of my coaches dubbed me the "honey bee" - one who cross-pollinates flowers to produce and share a sweet, healing nectar. I'm the honey bee. Who are you and who are you becoming, REALLY? Life is happening for all of us and there is no limit. I'm here and rooting for you.
